About
I started my career in 1993 as an apprentice production framer for track homes. This was the foundation of the skills I was to develop over the next 26 years.
In time I worked way up to more complex skill sets including joisting, framing walls, setting beams and being a pick up carpenter.
When the recession hit and housing starts fell, I moved to interior painting and staining, mastering a range of skills along the way.
Shortly thereafter I began doing drywall installation for Apex Contracting for large companies like Marriott, Petco Park, Diamond Terrace Apartments, and others.
I am now an individual entrepreneur leveraging the skills I've acquired over more than two decades to bring you expert handyman, drywall & painting and framing services.

I recommend Carey Moore without reservation. He has worked on a number of projects on two properties for us and has done an amazing, complete, and timely job on all of them. Carey is very skilled and detail oriented in what he does. His results speak for themselves and we are very happy with the work he has done for us.
Some of these projects include power washing, sanding and resealing a large elevated outdoor deck, painting interior rooms including doors, frames, molding and stripping, sanding and repainted cabinetry while installing new drawer pulls and hardware. He has removed old interior cedar wall paneling and installed new insulation and drywall, and was able to completely rehab a mold ridden detached garage including getting rid of the mold, bleaching and washing the walls and floor and repainting the interior.
Carey power washed the exterior of a rental property including tile roofing and getting rid of lots of stains, nests and spiders webs so it looked great afterwards. Carey is a hard worker, reliable and responsible with reasonable rates. We feel very fortunate to have found him as a resource for two aging properties that need a lot of TLC and more!

I hired Carey to do a job outside his wheelhouse: build a home climbing wall for my daughter who is a national level competitive rock climber.
Carey came to the job with a good deal of enthusiasm, curiosity and can-do attitude. We talked thru different ideas, about different terrain types: overhung, slab, roof.
Ultimately, my daughter and I built a scale model of the wall and shared it with him.
Without missing a beat, Carey evaluated the project, determined the materials needed and started the project. A short while later we had a fully framed climbing wall. He then cut the many irregular shapes of the climbing surfaces. After the hole pattern was drilled and t-nuts pounded in, the climbing surfaces were attached to the frames, secured and finished.
We are delighted with his energy, enthusiasm and skill and will work with him on future projects.
